Words cannot describe how much my feet hurt… how much Excedrin I took… or how much F-U-N I had. I worked with fabulous vendors, met some great people and made new friends. So where do we start? How about Monday. Monday-Thursday I worked all day at The Chamberlin. Friday, I had a half day at The ‘C’ then went to Distinctive Rentals to pick up the champagne flutes and water goblets needed for Saturdays wedding. From there, straight to the oceanfront for the wedding rehearsal. From theeeeere, rehearsal dinner…. then, HOME. Oh no, the work doesn’t stop there. Preparing the rest of the favors/place cards then I get to go to bed. Saturday: Wake up early, get ready, load the car and head to the beach. Bride walks down the isle, then it’s off to Norfolk Naval where the reception was being held. Can we say “only 1 hour to set up= CHAOS” LOL. buuuut, with the help of the ushers and DJ Ivan James from Arch Entertainment, we made it in the nick of time. Thank goodness. Whewwe! From there, everything went according to planned. The wedding was beautiful, the couple… even more fantastic! The cake was huge, the lighting was perfect, the music was insanely good… what more could you ask? From there, load up the rentals, head home, in bed by 2. Theeeeeen, up early for my niece’s 5th birthday party. But… this was not just your typical birthday party, oh no. This was Cadence’s Birthday TEA PARTY. Purple floppy summer hats, pearl necklaces, lace gloves, mustaches on a stick, strawberry cream cheese cupcakes, coconut shrimp and all of this at The Chamberlin…. Now THAT is a party! Sorry mom and dad, I am spoiling her for her wedding. Buuuuut, that’s what you get when you have a wedding coordinator in the family. So now it’s Monday, and it seems that the events just don’t end there. 2 Contracts signed today at The ‘C’… Hello great start to the week! Let’s hope the rest of the week proves to be as awesome as the weekend has been. And next Saturday… none other than a Wedding. Woop Woop! Have I mentioned how much I love my job?!?!? Noted!
